Well we're back...
Currently at the Cape for Amanda's Cape Week- where most of Stonehill goes to the Cape for the week between finals and graduation. It's been fun so far-sleeping late, eating, going to the beach (not too often- weather has sorta sucked), and hanging out at night. Tonight is the formal, so we'll be going there with a few friends and showing off some moves on the dance floor. I'll be sure to post some pics after tonight.

Dodgeball Sucks...
...when you play the team who's job it is to catch and throw balls.
So the Dodgeball Tournament went worse than expected, but largely because we had to play the baseball team in the first round. We were screwed before we even got on the court. Also, the bracket was made so that the baseball teams (they had two teams playing) were on opposite sides of the bracket, and guess what happened- yup, an all-baseball team final, real exciting. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. Maybe Stonehill will make a fairer bracket and we'll have better luck next year.
More importantly, our uniforms were awesome! Unfortunately there turned out to not be a best-uniform award, but they were still a hit! Pics are below.

Denim Dodgers
This Monday the guys and I will be playing in the Dodgeball Sweet-16. In addition to trying to win, there's a prize for best team costume, so we"re obviously gunning for that one because it basically determines who the cool kids are, am I right?!?
So for our costumes- all denim (hence the name "Denim Dodgers"). We went to Salvation Army to pick up some cheap items- jeans and denim shirts/jackets. We then cut our jeans into 'jorts'- but no, not regular shorts length, like super short shorts (think Officer Dangle from Reno 911 except with denim). Then denim shirts with the sleeves cut off. We then painted our last names on and gave ourselves numbers to put on the back of the shirts too. We have headbands and wristbands and such to accent our denim also. Basically, we're all pretty excited.
The tournament is Monday night, so I'll be sure to give an update on how it goes and include a few pics for the lolz.

Basketball
OK, so a group of nice kids were hanging out, playing b-ball outside the school (name that reference?!).
But really. We decided to play some basketball, nothing formal just for kicks today. We shot around a bit, then decided to play around-the-world. We were about 3/4 of the way through our game (Sam was winning-I was in third), and we see a bunch of people come crowd the court. There was our group and another group on the courts at the moment, each using half courts so we decided to slide over to let a full court be free. So a group of like 12 kids takes that court. There's still a group waiting to play.
We decide to speed it up a bit, but we didn't really want to stop yet. But then one of the kids (big, black, obviously doesn't go here) starts shooting on our hoop. Rest of his group comes over and literally takes over our court. Not cool.
Bottom line: Big, black people are scary and will kick you off a basketball court if they want to play. :(
Hello World
Hi friends,
I have decided to once again re-enter the blog-o-sphere in hopes of garnering more dedication and success in this than in my previous blog-spaces. Here I'll be able to tell neat-o stories to you my dear friends, but also save them for eternity (which probably includes ridicule from my children someday). Alright, let's get you up to speed...
So Todd, what are you doing?
So, I think that's about it for the opening post. Keep tuned for more updates!

Here I'll be able to tell neat-o stories to you my dear friends, but also save them for eternity (which probably includes ridicule from my children someday). Alright, let's get you up to speed...
So Todd, what are you doing?
- Right now, reading for a Nutrition quiz tomorrow, but it's kind of a snore, so we'll complete it at approximately 1:30am this evening (note: who considers 1:30am the evening? I do.).
- Well, school is beginning to wind down (about a month left now), but in case you're interested I'm majoring in Neuroscience (Nerdo-science) and minoring in Healthcare Administration. That'll be the most school background you're going to get, mostly because I'm hoping school doesn't get too much of a focus in this blog, but I'm sure it'll still come up every so often.
- Hmm, lets see. Last night Tim had a recruit. Said recruit slept on the futon that we moved into our room, which wouldn't have been a problem except when someone who I'm not comfortable with sleeps in my room, my samurai senses tingle too much for me to fall asleep easily. So it took me longer than normal to fall asleep, but not too big a deal.
- Been working on my basketball game, and I think it's paying off which is kind of cool.
- About 3 weeks ago I spent spring break in Florida with the girlfriend and her family. It was awesome! I had a week where I had nothing to worry about, just sit on the beach and get red/tan (I consider both better than being pale). Anyway we spent the whole time hanging out which was a lot of fun, I got to get even closer with Amanda's family than I had been, which was really cool.
- Everything since then is mostly irrelevant, or not memorable enough to mention here. If I do by chance remember something cool, you'll certainly get an update with it.
- Nope. Unless you're one of those who thinks Easter is particularly cool... Don't you worry though I'll keep you fed with entertaining stories as soon as they happen. I'll try to not neglect you like my past blogs.
So, I think that's about it for the opening post. Keep tuned for more updates!
